You may receive an error when uploading a completed CMRT onto the Conflict Minerals application using the Excel template of the CMRT. There may be a few reasons why this happens.

  1. Please make sure that the CMRT is saved as an .xlsx file instead of .xls. You can change this by going to your Excel template and clicking File >> Save As, then switching the dropdown from .xls to .xlsx.

    2.  Make sure the date has been entered correctly. The correct format is Day-Month-Year. For example: 17-May-2017
