You may receive an error when uploading a completed CMRT onto the Conflict Minerals application using the Excel template of the CMRT. There may be a few reasons why this happens.
- Please make sure that the CMRT is saved as an .xlsx file instead of .xls. You can change this by going to your Excel template and clicking File >> Save As, then switching the dropdown from .xls to .xlsx.
2. Make sure the date has been entered correctly. The correct format is Day-Month-Year. For example: 17-May-2017
